turbo generator machining
For the complete machining of so called turbo generator shafts for the production of electricity Weingärtner developed a unique machining application.
The whole shaft is machined in one clamping including all machining operation (eg. turning, milling, slotting, honing, ...) to produce this components from blank to finish part.
crankshafts
To machine heavy and huge crankshafts Weingärtner developed special applications and cycles as well as tailored steadies to machine this complex and highly accurate parts in the most economical way on the mpmc machines.
steam and gas turbine shafts
For the complete machining of heavy and high precise steam- and gas turbine shafts Weingärtner developed a worldwide unique complete machining application.
The whole shaft is machined in only two clampings including all machining operation (eg. turning, milling, dove tail milling, fire tree milling, deep hole gun drilling, honing, vibration damped deep grooving, integrated measuring, ...) from blank to finish part on one mpmc 2000 machine equiped with hydrostatic steady rests.
